Penny is a professional with over 30 years of experience working with people with a disability, currently serving as the Director of Care Connect Navigators. Her career reflects a dedication to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities through compassionate care and effective service delivery. Her academic foundation is embedded in her undergraduate in Welfare, which equips her with the essential knowledge and skills to support and advocate for vulnerable populations.
Building on this, she pursued postgraduate studies in Case Management and Client Servicing, further honing her expertise in creating and managing individualised care plans that address the unique needs of each client.
Committed to continuous learning and professional development, Penny has also completed specialised programs in Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Motor Neurone Disease (MND) delivered by the Menzies Institute for Medical Research. These programs have provided her with advanced insights into the complexities of these conditions, enabling her to offer informed guidance and support to individuals and families affected by MS and MND.
Throughout her career, Penny has been recognised for her empathetic approach, strategic vision, and unwavering commitment to the disability community. Her leadership at Care Connect Navigators embodies her dedication to fostering a supportive and empowering environment for both clients and staff, ensuring that everyone receives the highest standard of care and assistance.
